DISNEY'S BUILDING CODES

A study of the building codes used by Disney's Imagineers across the Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld, Florida. The subversion of colour, scale, and materiality dominates the architecture of the theme park in order to create a carefully cultivated environment consumed by park goers. Each of these building codes is isolated and visually applied to a Mickey head which acts as a 'primitive prototype' demonstrating each unique spatial condition.
